Clean and safe...
Did you know that many candles today are still mass produced using harmful chemicals? We are dedicated to creating clean, non-toxic candles safe for you and your loved ones. Our candles are hand poured using 100% all natural soy wax and with paper threaded cotton wicks. And we don't stop there. We carefully select each fragrance and only use those that are certified by our suppliers to be free from all harmful chemicals, including parabens, phthalates and all confirmed and suspected carcinogens, mutagens, acute toxins, reproductive toxins, and organ toxins (CMRs). None of our ingredients are on California's Proposition 65 list and all adhere to the standards of the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) and the International Fragrance Association (IFRA).
Eco-friendly glow...
We believe sustainability and minimizing waste is a beautiful way of life—and that beauty doesn’t have to come in a brand-new package. That’s why we breathe new life into jars and bottles that would be discarded unnecessarily, transforming them into unique, one-of-a-kind vessels for our candles. We also offer an option for 9 oz. candles in new (not recycled) clear glass tumblers as well.
Each previously used container is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before being given a fresh, natural makeover. Think bohemian charm—not the repurposed coffee containers your dad kept in the garage to organize nuts and bolts. Although, we do love that practice.
Most of the containers are former candle vessels. They come in all shapes and sizes, and that's part of the magic. Occasionally we find a unique bottle - typically a rescued liquor bottle - and hand-cut and sand it for a smooth, funky finish. Because we work with repurposed glass, no two candle vessels are ever quite the same. That means the candle you receive may not look exactly like the one in the product photo, but it will absolutely reflect the same vibe and style you see across our site. Think of it like shopping vintage: always beautiful, never identical.
To help you know what to expect, we’ve filled our product gallery with real examples of the containers we use most often. Give it a scroll and you’ll get a solid sense of our aesthetic.
As with anything handmade and repurposed, slight imperfections may pop up—but we like to think of those as character. This isn’t mass-produced. It’s slow-made, earth-honoring, and intentional. We hope you’ll embrace the quirks and individuality and join us in this endeavor to reduce unnecessary consumption and waste.
Besides, in the end, it’s what’s inside that counts—and we’ve crammed these vessels with a whole lot of heart, good vibes, and wax so clean it practically composts itself (but, like, don't actually try that).
