Candle Care
SAFETY:
- Trim wick to 1/4" for each burn.
- Stop use when 1/4"-1/2" of wax remains.
- Do not burn for more than four hours at a time.
- Burn within sight.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Only burn on a level, fire resistant surface.
- Keep away from flammable materials.
- Keep wax free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.
- Do not move when burning or wax is hot.
HELPFUL TIPS FOR CLEANING 10 OZ TUMBLER TO REFILL:
Use the technique that works best for you — here’s our go-to method for cleaning out the tumbler before adding a new wax-drop insert:
- When your candle burns down to ¼"–½" of wax, extinguish it.
- While the wax is still warm (and safe to handle), carefully empty and discard the remaining wax and remove the wick tab. Never pour wax down the drain.
- Wipe out the warm wax with a paper towel until only a light residue remains.
- If wax has cooled and hardened, gently scrape it out with a non-abrasive tool.
- Once clean, you can wash with warm, soapy water for that fresh, new-candle feel (optional).
- Make sure the tumbler is dry, then pop in your next wax-drop insert.
- Tumblers aren't perfectly cylindrical - if the insert doesn't drop right in, simply rotate and try again.
BURN TIPS:
- To avoid tunneling and to get the most out of each burn, burn candle until wax melt reaches edges of glass.
- If flame is too tall, burning too hot, or wick mushrooming occurs, wick needs to be trimmed. Trim to 1/4".
STORAGE:
- Store out of direct sunlight.
- If you're candle did not come with a lid, we like to store them upside down until ready to burn. While bunnies are cute, dust bunnies are not.
